It is a Sunday afternoon in the universe. When a mysterious musical force causes scorching heat, tornadoes, and raging fires to devastate our planet, four very different people await the impending disaster at a local corner store. As the end draws near, the jaded store owner opens his heart, a frustrated young Jamaican woman faces herself, a washed-up hockey player sees into the future, and an old woman lives out her dream. Sunday Afternoon is a film about the human ties that bind us when catastrophe is imminent.
