U S A
Merrily, Merrily is a simple story about a 13-year-old girl in an existential crisis. Her name is Merrilee. She is an only child. Introspective and out of place, her social nexus is nominal. Home is her solace, but her parents make a shaky bedrock: her mother is overbearing and weak and her father is distant and stressful. Nonetheless, her relationship to them is the strongest and most prevalent in her life. One day Merrilee's father divulges a serious revelation. He tells her a story about grief and recovery, about things he and her mother lost before Merrilee their little gift from God came along. Merrilee doesn't know why her father would tell these things to his 13-year-old daughter but she has a sneaking suspicion that all of this has something to do with her. As reality begins to fracture Merrilee is forced to explore themes way beyond typical teen angst. She has to question the lines of perception, self-awareness and being a character in your own life.

merily merily was very good i loved the way you had to guess at whether she was real or her parents were real. I think anyone can relate to Merily i think everyone has there times where the wish they didnt exist or had someone tell them they didnt exist it would answer a lot of questions.
