'Just One of the Gynos' is a classic love story for the ages. Boy meets girl. Boy becomes gynecologist. Boy becomes overexposed at work, no longer finds girl sexually desirable and must find a way to, um, dive back in, for his own mental well-being and the state of his relationship.Young Dr. Kenny Larsen (Brandon Olive) has just started his professional life as a gynecologist in Shreveport, Louisiana. Adapting to the pressures of a new marriage, paying a mortgage, living in a new town and working for his father-in-law, the local stud OB/GYN (Creed Bratton, 'The Office'), is hard enough as it is. But when Kenny fails to separate work and pleasure, his love life with his newlywed wife (Kasey Wilson) goes South. It's a textbook case of overexposure to the female anatomy -- although there's nothing textbook about the steps Kenny must take to overcome this psychological hitch.Kenny seeks the help of the most unlikely of support groups: Gynecologists Anonymous. It's here where Kenny discovers there are other gynecologists out there who share this unfortunate mental block. The ring leader of the group (Kyle Gass, Tenacious D) imparts his wisdom upon Kenny, which only frightens Kenny even more about his condition. In the end, it takes a most bizarre conversation with Kenny's in-laws including some choice words from his mother-in-law (Carol Potter, 'Beverly Hills, 90210') for Kenny to gain the courage to try and overcome his unfortunate psychological predicament.
