What could make an impending divorce and horrible demotion at work worse? A lost cat. Well, that and the discovery that you’re living just a few houses down from a convicted sex offender and possible cat killer. When your life is falling apart, what else can you do but roll up your sleeves and use the workplace copy machine to make Missing Cat flyers and paste them all over the suburban wasteland in which you live? Goliath is a comedy with a dash of drama, though the film leans mostly to the hilarious side of things (albeit, more often deadpan antics ala The Office).
